The Perl community is quite active these days with the release of perl 5.10 - the first major upgrade to the language in 5 years. However, I'm mostly happy for another news of these days: the publishing of a book devoted to the Catalyst framework. I think this is an important step for the growth and spreading of the framework, as it is the first printed book devoted to it.
